Hello! My name is Michael Luu-Trong.

I am a full-stack software developer from Southern California.

I build responsive and performant web applications. I have a background in biology, but I have been drawn to the problem-solving nature of programming for a long time. The COVID-19 pandemic pushed me further to explore software engineering as a career path, and I made the switch as I my passion for software development grew.

Hobby-wise, I love building mechanical keyboards. From oiling springs, tuning stabilizers, and putting everything together at the end. I find it very relaxing to fine-tune every part of my keyboards to my preferences for sound, feel, and aesthetics.

I enjoy small parts of larger applications and seeing everything working in conjunction as part of a completed whole - like a keyboard! I am always interested in seeing how other developers approach problems and their resulting solutions. I love to read and learn, and I use that knowledge to improve my own work.
